Throughout college, Sarah participated in the Society of Automation Engineers Formula racecar project, and frequently competed in autocrosses to build her own driving skills. The Formula SAE program challenges college students to design, build and compete in a mini formula racecar. Sarah is a Mechanical Engineer building and designing robotic CNC milling machines. Sarah Grenier is the co-driver for the glhracing team. Sarah started co-driving for the team in December 2002 at the Maine forest winter rally and competed in five rally event is in 2003. Sarah was first introduced to racing through a motor sport called hillclimbing when she was 15 years old. A mentor from a robotics program in which she participated while in high school was a regular competitor and invited Sarah to crew for them.
